# Privacy policy — Listok, EPUB and FB2 reader Listok opens EPUB and FB2 books that you choose from your own disk and shows them in a browser tab. It has no server, no account, no analytics and no ads. **What it reads.** Only the book file you pick with "Open EPUB or FB2" or drop on the reader page. The file is unpacked and shown inside the browser. The extension has no access to websites, other tabs or other files. **What is sent outside your browser.** Nothing. The extension makes no network requests. Remote images, fonts and styles inside a book are blocked. A web link inside a book opens in a new tab only when you click it, like any link. **What is stored, only on this device.** - A copy of the last book you opened, in the extension's own IndexedDB, so the reader can reopen it after the tab or the browser is closed. Opening another book replaces it. - In `browser.storage.local`: the type size and theme, and for each book you opened the place where you stopped (the chapter file inside the book and how far it was scrolled). Books are identified by a SHA-256 hash of the file, not by its name or path. At most 200 places are kept. **Removing data.** Removing the extension deletes everything it stored. **What is never collected:** personal data, browsing history, analytics, advertising identifiers. Nothing is sold or shared with the author or anyone else.
